Julia Boulton
Julia joined Gardening Which? in 1996 as Art Editor before rising to Editor 2 years ago. She is passionate about the subject and visits many gardens around the country, often photographing them for the magazine. Her strong design background and love of gardening ensures that Gardening Which? looks beautiful while the content remains focused on giving practical information.
Richard Gianfrancesco
Richard Gianfrancesco has his roots in plant ecology. Understanding how and why plants grow where they do, and studying the relationships between plants and their environment, has proved to be a sound basis for working in Gardening Which?. Richard is in charge of the research teams in London and at our trial ground at Capel Manor College in Enfield. Together they run plant trials, from antirrhinums to zinnias, tool and product tests, and all of the other in-depth research that provides the unique information we publish.
Rosemary Ward
Rosemary Ward was a project researcher with Gardening Which? when the very first issue rolled off the presses in 1982. Now responsible for member benefits as well as our campaign activities, Rose has a passion for fruit, nuts and trees, and is rapidly turning her Kent garden into a productive wildlife-friendly woodland.
